In anticipation of students returning to school when it is safe to do so, Southside Ashpole Elementary, in coordination with the NC Innovative School District, recently undertook a school beautification project to spruce up the exterior and interior of its facility. The project included a thorough cleaning, waxing the floors to a high shine, painting, landscaping and even some decorating. Parents and community members got to see the results at an Open House held on Oct. 1st. and 2nd.
